Hiya,
I recently did a WinXP rebuild, and just decided to put back all of my personal GUI icons. I found that the GUI's "Import Icon" function would only allow me to do one at a time, and since I have 50+ that was not an option. Is there any reason why I can't use the Import function and do a multiple selection ?
I ended up creating a file with a known name, importing it, and searching for where the import function had put it, followed up by a normal multiple select and paste

Where did you end up copying them to?

\Harmony 2007\DeviceImg\

or

\Harmony 20007\GUI\DeviceImg\

or

both or somewhere else?

it would seem a sensible addition to the backup tool - to include Icons! agree/disagree?

btw - I realise I didnt answer your question - - would have to look into code to see exactly what import does - - and don't have time to do that at the moment

They ended up in:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Domia ltd\Harmony 2007\6.2.0.0\DeviceImg
and
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Domia ltd\Harmony 2007 GUI\2.0.0.0\DeviceImg

And not the
C:\Program Files\Domia\Harmony 2007\DeviceImg
That I had expected

agh. not so easy to automate then

let me look at the import code (wont be for a little while I'm afraid - too much on) - and I'll see what I can do.

sorry - but well done on the workaround!

Rob: All it needs is for the existing import function to allow multiple selection. It will only allow one at a time

Sure - totally understand the requirements - - but without looking at the code, I can't say "yup, will do that now" - there's probably a good reason why multi-select was disabled in the 1st place
