Hi Rob,

I think I may have found a bug, its easy to replicate on my setup, so hopefully its the same on others.

In this setup, I have a BBSB socket (elec blanket A01), an adhoc elec blanket device (F01) and a dummy device (F02).  I use the dummy device F02 to say that the device has previously been on in the past 12 hours, and not to turn on again.

So the logic of my event, is that, when the adhoc electric blanket device is turned on, the pre-reqs check a couple of things, firstly that we're not in summer months, secondly that the F02 device is not on.

If the conditional logic is passed, I then have the actions:

turn on the electric blanket (A01)
turn on the adhoc elec blanket switch (F01)
60 mins later, turn off A01.

If I have the actions in this order, all 3 actions trigger (and the devices are shown as on in the gui), but the switch never turns on.

If I have it in the following order:

turn on the adhoc elec blanket switch (F01)
turn on the electric blanket (A01)
60 mins later, turn off A01.

the actions are working.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Tony

That rings a bell Tony,

Try adding a few seconds delay between each BBS command and see if that does it. Let us know if that helps

To clarify Tony, I believe there is an issue with the Harmony-BBS software that occasionally shows up. It is thought to be due to sending commands too quickly to the V2 controller, and can be overcome by adding in small delays.

If you try your command sequence in the original order, and add 3 second delays between commands, does it now work ?
If it does, then please let us know so Rob can prioritise it.

Hi,

looks like it was a delay issue, now seems to be working ok.

Thanks
Tony
