I was thinking that I would like to use Harmony to pep up my Xmas lights. The neighbours have already started fitting icycle lights to their gutters, and so the creative Engineer thoughts begin. Hmm, how about lights in all the windows that are sequenced by Harmony. Five sets of lights; I could sequence on OFF out of the five, and that would show an extra level of automation on top of the existing "On at x 'o' clock, Off at y 'o' clock" routine.

Any thoughts ?

Hi Homer,

I have just got the x10 kit out of the box in the garage and setup again. I am
not sure why happened or why they went away in the first place. I love the
simple fact that everything comes on at once at 6pm!

Hi James,

Harmony combined with X10 and BBS really makes a difference for my 84 year old Mother, as she doesn't have to do anything to make the Xmas lights come on (Tree, window lights in different rooms, gutter lights on garage). She does have remote controls too for that extra bit of control

What I ended up doing was adding plug in BBSB dimmers to the mix. I plugged in the last of the Xmas filament lights, and set Harmony to send the ON command twice. This means they come on, then start to cycle dim/bright continuously. Not what they were designed for, but it looks good
