I've already posted about the Digiflux dimmable varilight 20 watt BC model YCA20D-B22 and the Govena dimmable 20 watt BC model 0519 6821 in the General Discussion section. I had tried them both with a car inspection light and an LM12 lamp module. That appeared to work OK, but I think I need to test a bit further before recommending them. L8r !

Have installed a GE 20W (=75) dimmable energy saving lamp running off a
BBSB dimmer unit. It appears to work but the dimming action is a little
unusual and it is very hard if not impossible to get it below a certain level of
light output. Not as good as filament but it works.
